A Photoblogging Weekend.

This weekend we had a visit from Craig. Craig lives on the south coast, and has a really great photoblog, ID7. His wife arranged a surprise 'Blackpool Blogging Weekend' for him, so he didn't know about it until just before Christmas, although we have been looking forward to Craigs visit for weeks.

Dave and Craig spent most of Friday, Saturday and Sunday out and about, taking lots and lots of photos at various locations around the Fylde Coast. It was freezing outside, so I admire them for braving the cold for so long. In the evening we all ate together (that's eleven around the dinner table), and stayed up till past midnight talking while Dave and Craig post processed the days snaps. On Saturday night Finn was poorly, and ended up back downstairs an hour after he went to bed. He eventually snuggled up to Craig and fell asleep on the sofa.

I am really looking forward to seeing the finished photos on both blogs. Both tried things out of their comfort zones and, although I have seen the shots out of the camera I can't wait to see the end results.

I am also looking forward to some time in the distant future, when I will be able to spend a day wandering around taking photos, instead of looking after the little 'uns. I guess it won't be long though...they are growing up fast!

Craig also volunteered to look at a couple of sick laptops for us. One was sorted out....but the other still looks pretty sick :-( Hopefully my photos can be saved, as most of my family snaps weren't backed up. I've learnt my lesson now....and back everything up, instead of just work stuff.
